Child-Safe: Weekly support group

SafeSpace provides personnel upon request to facilitate educational components of our program to law enforcement and community groups and organizations.

Identifying Domestic Violence for the Health Care Providers:

This program attempts to address the epidemic of domestic violence which is the leading cause of injury to women in the United States.

This program offers professional health care providers with an overview of domestic violence and a protocol recommended by the Department of Health for treating and identifying domestic violence in a hospital or clinical setting.

This program is provided by trained staff.

Duration of program: 1.5 to 2 hours.

Identifying Domestic Violence for Educators & Childcare Providers:

This program is designed to assist educators and childcare providers to identify the signs and effects domestic violence on children. The program offers community referrals and support information.

This program is provided by trained staff and volunteers.

Duration of program: 1 to 1.5 hours.
