Karina Vargas

Karina Vargas is the Child Welfare Advocate Lead. She is a graduate from Indian River State College and has her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Services. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business and has been with SafeSpace since May of 2018. Karina has 10 years of experience in the Child Welfare system where she worked with families that have been impacted by domestic violence, abuse, or neglect. Karina Vargas is co-located at the Department of Children and Family Office where she provides ongoing training to child welfare professionals. She is able to connects with survivors to advocate within the child welfare system. As partners we can work together to achieve freedom from domestic violence.
